Differences in the application of stainless steel cable ties and cold-rolled cable ties

2025-02-18

Stainless steel cable ties are thin steel plates supplied in coils, also called strip steel. They are divided into hot-rolled and cold-rolled, and there are also ordinary steel strips and high-quality steel strips. Simply put, they are extensions of ultra-thin stainless steel plates. They are mainly a narrow and long steel plate produced to meet the needs of industrialized production of various metal or mechanical products in different industrial sectors. Strip steel is also called "steel strip", with a maximum width of no more than "1220mm", and there is no limit on the length. Stainless steel strips are divided according to the "processing and manufacturing" method: there are "cold/hot rolling". Stainless steel strips are usually produced by cold rolling, and cold-rolled stainless steel strips are mainly produced by coiling. Only small batches of stainless steel plates of individual steel grades are produced in single sheets. Single sheet rolling is most suitable for producing large-sized thicker steel plates and trial production of new steel grades. The production of cold-rolled stainless steel strip is not a simple "cold rolling" process. The typical production process of cold-rolled stainless steel strip also includes: heat treatment, pickling, grinding, etc. of hot-rolled steel strip; flattening; cross-cutting into steel plates or longitudinal cutting into steel strips; sorting; cleaning and packaging.
